Hello! At over 20k words, I have now finished 25% of my novel's first draft. I expect this draft to be complete as of August 31. After that, I will begin the editing process. I am super excited about this milestone! Tomorrow I will be posting a short article discussing the ins and outs of my outlining process. I know there are many discovery writers out there (writers who do not outline), but I find outlines to be extremely helpful for staying on track during the drafting process. Hello everyone! 14,000 words into my first novel draft, I have decided to establish a professional platform for myself as an author. I have been published in The Scribe, a literary magazine at UMass Amherst, and I would like more of my poetry to gain traction in the industry.
